Summary
Taken at the Nature conservancy's Lewis A. Swyer Preserve @ Mill Creek. Freshwater tidal swamps are fragile places, home to a greater number of species than most other places in the northeastern United States. There are only five freshwater tidal swamps in NY State. All are on the Hudson River.
