Summary
A sample of the easily oxidized-to-copper(II) chloride copper(I) chloride. This was made by reducing copper(II) chloride with ascorbic acid, found as vitamin C crystals. If some of this is smeared on something, it will turn green within a few seconds by reacting with oxygen in the air.
