Summary
Charon, moon (or more accurately, wide-binary companion) of Pluto. Note the north pole region, significantly darker than the rest of the surface. The surface is also cracked and pockmarked with chasms and craters. They indicate massive internal or tidal stresses and a period of meteoroidal bombardment.
