Stegosaurus
Scientific Classification

The name Stegosaurus means roofed or plated reptiles. The Stegosaurs walked on four legs (quadrupedal) and were plant eaters (herbivores). They are characterized by having two longitudinal rows of plates and spines on the back to tail for defense.
