Summary
Tiger Moth (Spilosoma congrua) is usually immaculate or nearly immaculate. A black spot is sometimes visible in the median area of the forewing. It is distinguishable from other Spilosoma by the white abdomen and lack of wing markings. Spilosoma congrua is also similar to Hyphantrea cunea, but congrua has a more robust body and the forewing apex is less pointed.
