Summary
Image title: The Star of Bethlehem
Source: Yonge, Charlotte M.: “Religion in the Home” (1913)
A crowd is marching; but three in particular are shown in this colour picture, moving towards a bright star. One is riding a richly decorated camel. The Gospels do not in fact say there were Three Kings: they say neither how many there were nor that they were kings, but in fact say only that there were wise men (or astronomers, or astrologers) who gave three gifts.
