Summary

These guys become very active in late winter as their mating season gets started. They are primarily nocturnal animals, but I have been smelling them just about every morning for over a week now, and occasionally catching sight of one during the day. This shot was taken a year ago -- late Feb. '06 -- and after he arched his back and raised his tail, I gave him a wide berth.
