Gypsum (hydrated calcium sulfate)

Minerals are naturally occurring uniform solids with a specific chemical composition as well as a highly ordered atomic arrangement. Man-made minerals such as emeralds, sapphires, etc, are nearly identical to their naturally made counterparts.
