The Tigris (Hebrew: חידקל, Ḥîddeqel; Arabic: دجلة, Diğlä) is the eastern river of the two rivers that make up Mesopotamia, along with the Euphrates, which flows from the mountains of Anatolia, Turkey through Iraq.
