James
From CreationWiki, the encyclopedia of creation science
James, the Son of Alphaeus, brother of Judas (also called Lebbaeus Thaddeus, Jude, and Juda), was one of Jesus twelve Apostles. According to Galatians 1:1–19 (KJV) James was also the brother of Jesus. This is supported by passages such as Matthew 13:55 (KJV). Such being the case, James the Apostle, is James the Lord's brother, is the James that wrote the book of James, is the same James that spoke at the meeting in Acts 15 concerning the fact that Gentiles were not subject to the Old Testament, and is the brother of Jude (Juda) who wrote the book of Jude. His two other brothers were Simon and Joses and he had sisters as well Matthew 13:54–56 (KJV).
According to the historian, Josephus, James was stoned to death. Antiquities XX 9:1
