The House of Cain refers to all the named descendants of Cain.

Cain

Main Article: Cain

Cain was the original first-born of Adam. However, because he committed murder and thus lay under a curse from God, he lost whatever rights he had. Those rights devolved on Seth, who was born to Adam and Eve after Abel was dead and Cain banished.

Enoch

Enoch is the son of Cain and father of Irad. Genesis 4:18

Enoch is also the name of a city that Cain built and named after his son. Genesis 4:17

Irad

Irad is the son of Enoch and father of Mehujael. The Bible Genesis 4:18 says nothing further about this man.

Mehujael

Mehujael is the son of Irad and father of Methusael. The Bible Genesis 4:18 says nothing further about this man.

Methusael

Methusael is the son of Mehujael and father of Lamech the Murderer. The Bible Genesis 4:18 says nothing further about this man.

Lamech

Lamech the Murderer (not to be confused with the other Lamech, father of Noah was the son of Methusael. He is one of the most brazen of all Bible characters. He is best known for boasting to his two wives that he had killed two different men who each had wounded him in some way, and declared that if Cain would be avenged sevenfold, then he, Lamech, should be avenged seventy-seven-fold.

Genesis 4:19-24 describes Lamech's family. He had two wives, Adah and Zillah. Adah bore him two sons, named Jabal and Jubal. Zillah bore him a son named Tubal-cain and a daughter named Naamah.

Adah

The sons of Adah are:

Jabal

Jabal is credited with being the originator of tent-dwellers and cattle ranchers.

Jubal

Jubal is credited with being the first professional musician.

Zillah

The children of Zillah are:

Tubal-cain

Is credited with inventing or otherwise originating bronze-working and iron-working within the Antediluvian civilization of the Old Testament.

Naamah

The Bible does not mention the name of Naamah more than once. However, a number of Hebrew extra-Biblical sources alleged that she was the wife of Noah and joined him on the Ark.
