Commensalism

Commensalism is an term to describe the relationship between organisms, where one organism, who does not substantially harm or help, benefits from the another. Commensalism is different from mutualism in that only the first organism is significantly benefited, and the second organism remains unaffected by the presence of the first.[1] Many times, the host organism supplies a home and/or transportation for the other species.[2]
