Enumerations are strings that are restricted to a limited set of labels. You can simulate the now-discontinued Boolean type by specifying a property of this type having the allowed values "yes" or "no", or "true" or "false". Use Property:Allows value to specify the values for an enumerated type.

Beginning with SMW 1.0, String and Enumeration are effectively the same type, because Property:Allows value works with both.
