It is interesting to note that on a feedback page, T.O states thatIn fact the only scientist I know to have claimed that the embryos of terrestrial vertebrates actually use their "gill-slits" as gills was Louise Agassiz, a creationist and ardent opponent of Darwin's theory.

Of course, they had to go back to 1874 (!) to find a creationists who said that. PrometheusX303 08:51, 11 January 2006 (GMT)
