Jump to: navigation, search

The Titius-Bode prediction for the semi-major axis of a planet or dwarf planet in the solar system is the predicted length of the semi-major axis of its orbit, measured in AU, that the planet or dwarf planet ought to have if the Titius-Bode Law is valid. This property is primarily useful for a study of the Titius-Bode Law and a direct comparison of actual with predicted values for the semi-major axis.
